National Geographic on CD

        A teacher asked me if I knew how good the National Geographic on CD
is.  I didn't know NG had 30 CD-ROM from 1888 to the present.  Does anyone
have these CDs?  Would they be better than the magazine itself?  When they
mean "to the present", is it 1997 or 1996/95?  Do you have it on a
stand-alone? How about any updates and their costs?
        Would appreciate any information provided.  I would like to get the
CDs for our school.  M. :)
