American School Directory ERRORS!!!!

While I was Director of Technology in Bellingham last year
I was astounded by the large number of errors published by
these folks for each of our 18 schools.  When I called to
complain, they put the burden of correction on us!

Go figure.


I also objected to their republishing e-mail addresses of personnel
willy-nilly along with an "Our Home Page" which looked like
we had authorized it along with product endorsements and such.
I spoke with a VP from the company who was very nice but
completely unwilling to change anything.

Their defense is that the data is supplied by another company.

I think all schools should check their information and let this
company know how they feel about any errors found.
