Dear Colleagues, I received 31 responses to my question about school policies regarding community access to yearbooks. Thanks to all of you for sharing. All but one school prohibits circulation of their old yearbooks, but most schools allow browsing inside the library. Most schools allow community access, but some require prior approval by the administration. Some schools allow photocopying, but a few specifically prohibit it. I was hoping for a definitive answer, but the responses gave my principal and me food for thought.
