GEN: folk dancing

One of our teachers teaches folk dancing.  The drama department is
putting on the play, "The madwoman of Chaillot."  The folk dance, the
muzerka (sic?) has something to do with this play and the students
have asked this teacher it.

He has looked everywhere he knows where to look and he is not sure of
the correct spelling of the dance.  Can anybody help us?  He would
like to know something about the dance, plus I'm sure he would like to
be able to demonstrate it.
