Hello Everyone, I'm a student at the University at Buffalo (School of Information & Library Studies) and I'm trying to gather some data for a library management class, hopefully a few of you will have 10 minutes or so to help me out. Essentially the issue at hand is time management/time use in school library media centers. While the specific topic is in the infinite revision process I would still like to gather some preliminary information. 1. What level is your school? (Elem., middle, h.s., combination). 2. Student population. 3. Briefly name and discuss the three most time consuming activities in a typical day. (I'm not expecting a great deal of variation here, preparing lessons, teaching, changing overhead light bulbs, etc.) 4. Is your library automated? (Very Important Question) I know you are all quite busy so I genuinely appreciate any time taken to answer these questions, although there will be more to come. Please e-mail your answers directly to me. Thank you very much.
