I saw this posted at my school:

Spotsylvania County, Virginia
Middle School Librarian Opening
Application deadline 10/29/97 or until the position is filled.

Job description: To conduct the media program in a manner that
supports the instructional objectives of the middle school.

Preferred qualifications:  1. Hold the Collegiate Professional
License with a specific endorsement in library media NK-12.
2.  Broad knowledge and experience in teaching, media programs,
management, and administration of library/media services.


Salary and contract: 10-month position.  $26,683-$46,251 (based
on experience.) Benefits package.
