TARGET: Book Chats for Parents

I have been asked to come up with a plan for doing book chats with our
students' parents on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.  The school would like
me to talk about some great books for read-aloud, books to share with
beginning readers, etc.  They would also like me to talk about what
reading is (development levels, about when and how they'll start reading,
etc.)  If successful it will be done with some of the older students'
parents to help with home book selection.  I could really use some clever
ideas from you creative folks!!  TIA!
