Which Technology Stays?

HI,
    While working on a research question for my comps, I came across this
question.  Discuss new technology and how it changes the environment of the
school library media center.  I have done this very thoroughly, I think.
Now, I need some group input.  What forms of old technology do you think
will remain in our schools?  Will it be overheads, cassette recorders,
video?  What I would like are some predictions from this very knowledgeable
group of professionals.
