Well, it looks like I will be joining the group of those of you who have had added to your job descriptions that of Network Administrator for our complex (We have both middle and high schools in the same building - Total of about 600 students). I have mixed feelings about this. I feel that only by taking this responsibility on can I be assured that software I want networked (including Winnebago, which is ready and waiting) will happen. On the other hand, I have great concerns about the extra time being leached for this task from my busy schedule. Already, my principal is saying, "Once Winnebago is up and running, won't that give you extra time?" ! Advice from those of you have gone through this/ are currently going through this? I am holding out for proper training paid for by the district at the moment.
