HIT: OPAC placement

Thanks so much for those of you who replied to my request for input re
placement of 10 OPACs in a high school library. The consensus felt that the
terminals should be placed in front of the circulation desk with clear
visibility for the staff...for supervision,troubleshooting, etc. Two people
pointed out the importance of adequate spacing, especially when two or more
might group around one terminal. One person alos pointed out the importance
of avoiding direct sun placement due to glare, etc. Carole Beckwith
