Becky and Group, I also ordered the master list disk when we first began to use AR in our library. However, I don't use it as much as I thought I would. I usually just print out a list of tests (number, title, author, reading level, points) that WE HAVE in our program. I discovered that if I had "extra" titles, the ones that we don't have tests for would be exactly the ones the students want! Since I purchase a test disk every time I buy a set of books, I print out new lists periodically for the library and for reading teachers. The regular AR program allows us to print lists arranged according to author, title, or reading level (or test number, which I don't use). I just print lists out and put them in a loose leaf notebook. We keep in on the circulation counter for students to use. We have also begun to write the reading level inside the back cover on AR books for student convenience since teachers are insisting that students read on their diagnosed reading level or slightly above. (I believe that is going to help our students increase their reading levels a great deal.)
