CD Recorder Recommendations

Looking for recommendations on what kind of CD Recorder to purchase with
grant funds.  Can you give me any advise as to what kind of unit to buy
-- best brand name, features unit should have, internal or external unit,
"Write Once Read Many (WORM) vrs. Rewritable CD Recorders?

The Yamaha CD Recorder and Toast software were recommended several
timesin the archives.   Are they still the best or has something else
taken its place? Can Toast software run on a PC?

Any advise or suggestions you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
