Conference --TN, VA, NC, KY, West VA part. interest

 The Tennessee Assn. of School Librarians will hold its annual conference
Nov. 6-8 at the beautiful new Meadowview Conference center in Kingsport,
TN.  Featured speakers will include:  Carmen Deedy, author of The Library
Dragon; Mike Wimmer, illus. of All the Places to Love; Doreen Rappaport,
author of biography and historical nonfiction; Daniel Barron, columnist in
"School Library Media Activities Monthly" and several others.  Judy
Freeman, author of Books to Read and More Books to Read will conduct a
Saturday workshop.  We invite all librarians and interested classroom
teachers to join us for an exciting conference.  Kingsport is located in
upper East Tn near the Va, NC, and Ky borders, and we especially invite
librarians from these neighboring states to join us.  For more information
