I have really no limit on how many books teachers check out...I have had some that have 200 at a time! We are very literature based with our instruction as you can probably guess. I also have some teachers who hardly check any out at all. There is some loss, but most of the time it is kids who end up taking them home from the classroom. Part of your decision should be if your collection can handle your teachers taking out a lot of books...also if your are automated you can help your teachers keep track of their books by giving them printouts of their circulation.
