I have really no limit on how many books teachers check out...I have had
some that have 200 at a time! We are very literature based with our
instruction as you can probably guess. I also have some teachers who
hardly check any out at all. There is some loss, but most of the time it
is kids who end up taking them home from the classroom. Part of your
decision should be if your collection can handle your teachers taking out
a lot of books...also if your are automated you can help your teachers
keep track of their books by giving them printouts of their circulation. I
have many teachers who request this on a regular basis.
