Tech: Networking Macs

We are getting ready to network our entire school which will be running
Windows NT with a cross platform of Macs and PCs.  In the high school we
have some Mac LCII & Mac LCIII as well Mac 575 & 580.

My questions are:

1) Will we be able to install ethernet cards in these older machines?
2) With our T1 line, will these machines be able to access the internet?
