Now, I thought this was a fairly common quotation, but I cannot find it in Bartlett's, Stevenson's, the Oxford, or Magill's!! A teacher needs to know which American politician used the phrase "A chicken in every pot" in their campaign, and the date (or the election). Any ideas? Herbert Hoover? Huey Long? Depression era? Thanks for any help!
