First, a public thank you to all who suggested I go with the idea of comics. I will. Next, I would like to purchase some high interest/low vocabulary titles that might also motivate my high school patrons to take a book. I am told we have students who range from grade three independent reading level on up. Any suggestions for catalogs to acquire or vendors to contact that specifically deal with this material will be greatly appreciated. I am looking for fiction books or nonfiction resources. Thanks, again. BTW, after being a classrooom teacher for 26 years, I've really loving my work as a librarian/media specialist:^) Frank Moore fmoore@sccoast.net Teacher/Librarian at North Myrtle Beach High School - Home of the Chiefs KidsConnect Volunteer Help someone to laugh every day. http://www.col.k12.me.us/bjh/203a/BJHS203a.html =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to: listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write either: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET or 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST For more help see LM_NET On The Web: http://ericir.syr.edu/lm_net/ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
