Subject: Job Resposibilities-Elementary

There has been a discussion of the our job title, librarian or media
specialist, or learning resource director or others. We have discussed it
from the point of view of what we want to be called but let us take a look at
what we really do. I believe our job is probably one of the most complex
because it is so unique.

Elementary
Job responsibilities:
Library classes, maintenance of library and books, volunteer staffing
Learning groups-small group work-research-study groups
Teacher support
Support of the curriculum and skills
Teaching computer skills for use in multimedia presentations, and
computerized encyclopedia research, online research and communication.
Equipment maintenance-AV

What does your job include?
On what do you spend most of your time?
How are you able to plan together with teachers?
What do you consider specialties of your program?
What would you like to improve?
What are your frustrations? and the best part of your job?

Let's find out about the unique shoes we filling.
Keep Smiling;-)
