Good afternoon, I am looking for information on ELMS which is used by a few of the Fairfax County Public Schools. It is a classification system, used in an elementary school, in which the easy fiction and non-fiction together. The system consists of nine classifications from the 10s to the 90s. ELMS are the initials of the woman who "invented" this system (who is from the Norfolk, VA area). Each of the nine sections is color coded. This is all the information I am aware of. If anyone is familiar with this system I would appreciate all the help I can get. I am a graduate student at Catholic University and am interested in any information on this system or where to go to find resources, etc. I have searched the archives briefly and could find no reference to it. AskERIC referred me to LM_NET. Thank you very much.
