GEN: Marian the Librarian

In the spirit of April's Fool Day, and the fact that I'm otherwise
feeling giddy because I'm leaving for the Texas Library Convention in
San Antonio in just 40 more minutes, I thought I would post the
following query:  How many of you are named Marian, Marion, Marien,
Maryann, or any similar spelling?  My first name is Marian, although I
have always gone by Eliece.  One day a fellow teacher jokingly referred
to me as "Marian the Librarian", and she nearly passed out when I told
her that was really my name!  I've noticed quite a few signatures of
LM_Netters bearing this moniker, but I'm wondering if there are any
other "closet Marians" like me.  Please respond directly to me if you
fall into this category (first or middle name).  No need to clog up the
listserv with this--I'll compile the number of responses and let
everyone know the results.  I know you'll all be holding your breath
until you find out the answer ;=)
