Dear LM_NETters:

A teacher recently recommended the short stories of J. California Cooper to
add to my collection. And what a great suggestion! The kids in our school
- housed in a juvenile detention center - are devouring her works! Luckily,
because I have grant money readily available, I'm able to keep up with their
requests for copies of her books. Now, here comes my question - does anyone
know how to contact this author via email? We can always do a "snail mail"
to her publisher but since the kids are here for such varied periods of
time, electronic communication would be best. In doing some preliminary
searching on the Net, we've come up with info on Amazon.com etc. but nothing
more concrete than book reviews. If anyone has additional information or
suggestions, please contact me directly at my AOL address since we're on
Spring Break beginning tomorrow. TIA for any assistance.
