Hello Melissa and Group,

I, too, get an occasional ad from what I would guess is a porno
listserv. I surf the web on occasion and have never visited a porno
site, but I'm assuming that there are ways that "they" get e-mail
addresses via some sites that I may visit. Fortunately, no pictures
arrive in the e-mail....just verbal advertising. I just delete and go
on. Of course, I've never had anyone looking over my shoulder when that
happens. Perhaps it could be turned into a "teachable" moment in
emphasizing that students should NOT be turned loose to use the web
indiscriminately.
