These are the reponses I received. Thank you to all who responded. Gene Potoka, Administrative Assistant the Daystar school, Chicago PotokaG@aol.com -Try the GLOBE project. I don't have the address at hand, but I don't think it'll be too hard to locate with a search engine. -Scroll down the pg to #'s 116-118 they are all about weather. http://www.mcrel.org/connect/sciencelessons.html -We have some links on our curriculum pages. They're at link.ci.lexington.ma.us/WWW/LPS/Libdept/grade3.html -Check out the article in the Mar/Apr issue of MultiMedia Schools p. 46. It's got some great ideas and sites. -I think http://noaa.gov is the National Weather Service site -The Weather Channel's is a great site! www.weather.com -http://weather.yahoo.com Is pretty good. There are a lot of maps available. Some of it is probably too high-level, but much of it would be good, I think. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
