        I purchased this book because a considerable amount of discussion
here about it.  Since I just finished it I could not find it in the
archives.
        The book deals with a boy trying to find a way to come to grips with
the death of his grandmother.  I found it to be a comfortable "warm -
fuzzy" book.  The book will surely not be a fast mover on my shelves
but I know several kids who will enjoy it.  While the reading level
may be easy, the topic is not.
        As a side note:  We have had several students in  our building who
have lost a parent.  I have always given them a blank book and
suggested they sit down and write memories of the person before too
long.
