GEN: Author/library - geographical names needed

I would like suggestions for a project I am having my 6th graders do.

I need names of geographical places that relate to the library and reading,
such as: Reading, Pa.; Library, Pa.; and McIntosh, South Dakota.

Author names popular to the middle grades and younger would work well.
