GEN: Gale Research Software Grants

Gale Research has created two software grants for homework centers in
public libraries serving kindergarten through twelfth grade students.
Recipients of the grants will receive a complete set of Gale DISCovering
Program CDs for use in the center, plus free access to Gale DISCovering
Program databases on GaleNet for one year.  One grant will be awarded to an
existing homework center program and the other will go to a library
developing a new homework center.  In each case, judges will give special
consideration to libraries involving local schools in the homework center?s
development and maintenance.  I would be happy to pass guidelines along to
anyone who's interested in applying.
