'Netter's, I would like to send in a letter to the editorial section of our local newspaper for National Library Week. I would like to mention a little about the history/meaning of Nat'l Library Week. Anyone out there know? Any suggestions on things I might mention? I know I do want to mention that we DO NOT JUST CHECK BOOKS IN AND OUT ANYMORE! We had business partners in for a reception a few years ago. The art teacher had set up some folding wire "walls" to put drawings up on display. One of the partners asked... "What goes on in here [the library]?" It's also amazine that people only seem to notice you "working" when you've just sat down at the desk or you've raced to back are in the process of locating the right place on a video that a teacher needs to watch in half a minute!
