   1)   Technology Coordinator Duties:

   A.   Hardware and Software
        maintain/upgrade/repair hardware - 8
        updating CD-ROMs - 1
        installs hardware/software - 6
        orders hardware/software - 3
        software licenses - 1
        evaluate hardware/software - 1
        arranges repairs for hardware - 1
        moves equipment - 1
        orders computer related supplies - 2
        prepares specs/reviews bids - 1
   B.   Instruction/Curriculum
        teach faculty/students/staff/adults - 7
        assist with integrating technology into
                curriculum/writing curriculum - 4
        serves on technology committee/school technology plan - 5
   C.   Network duties
        setting up network - 3  (2 have Novell)
        network planning/implementation/administration - 3
        webmaster - 1
   D.   Computer labs
        computer lab supervisor - 1
        schedules computer lab use - 1
   E.   Other
        retrieves Internet information for staff - 1
        grant writing - 1
        arranges visits to other schools to see how they use
                and implement technology - 1
        "work with administration" - 1

   2)   Are you the technology coordinator?

   No - 8
   Yes - 6  (of these 6, 4 responded that they were both the Tech
   Coordinator and the LMS)

   Note: one person (LMS) who is not presently the tech
   coordinator did serve as LMS and tech coordinator in a
   previous position.

   3)   Is there a tech coordinator for the district? for the
   building?

   District - 4 (often has trained staff member in each school)
   Building - 2
   3 respondents replied that they were a one-school district, a
   private school and a K-12 school, so the tech coordinator was
   for both the building and the district
   1 respondent replied that they had not "tech coordinator" but
   two distinct technology departments in the district - one
   administrative and one instructional.
