GEN:Fiction for ESL Adults

Greetings Everyone,

Once again I'm coming to you in my hour of need!
I have been asked to recommend fiction books for an adult
English as a Second Language class. I am looking for relatively
short novels with reading levels between 4.5 and 6.5.
"Death Watch" by Rob White, "Where Are All the Children?" by
Mary H. Clark and "Sarah, Plain and Tall" have been suggested
to me.
All of your comments and book titles will be greatly appreciated.
