Dear LM Netters, I need the help of those who are in an elementary or middle school setting and have flexible scheduling. Just when I thought my new administrator was behind flexible scheduling for our K-4 library, I find that she really either doesn't have a clear understanding of it, or she has caved to the demands of classroom teachers afraid of loosin some planning time. She made the comment to me today that she feels that flexible scheduling has more of a place in a middle school setting than elementary. I need to hear from those of you who are in elementary settings or in middle school settings with already established flexible schedules, because I feel she may be surprised at the number of elementary LMC's that operated in this way. If you could include the grades you serve and a statement or two of description, that would be terific. I desperately need your responses by Wednesday AM if at all possible. Thanks so much for any help you can give me.
