GEN: switching jobs

Hi,

I'm a rookie, so I'm a little confused about how salaries work in the
education system.  I am in my first year as an LMS and am leaving this
school.  I am currently at a Masters Level One salary.  When I move to
another district, will I automatically go to Masters Level Two, will I
need to start over at Masters Level One, or does it just vary by
district?  Any comments would be appreciated!  (If it helps, I work in
Mass. and will end up in NY or stay in Mass.)  Thanks in advance.
