Rocks & Minerals Research Project

Hi Everyone,  I am collaborating with a 5th grade teacher on a research
project involving rocks and minerals around the world. Also, students will
be required to locate the various rock and mineral deposits on a map, that
will be included with their research. We would like the students to use a
variety of resources. I have enough books, however I really need a few good
WEB sites that would include maps on the various deposits. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
