writing across the curriculum

(We are a k-5 school)We are in the process of writing our section on
writing for our North Central Accreditation.  Do any of you wonderful
people use writing across the curriculum for a goal?  If so, how do you
implement this? Do you require a sample from every child in the
Enrichment classes? (library, computer lab, P.E., art, & music) What is
your mission statement?  Have you found any websites that pertain to
this subject? Please send your responses to the first e-mail address
