Block Scheduling

Hi All,

Our elementary school is considering block scheduling for the next
school year.  As you can imagine we have an uproar in our building.  If
you do block scheduling could you please let me know the pros and cons.
Teachers want to know if this works, how it works, and is it appropriate
for primary grades.  We will have a meeting in the near future and your
input can alleviate some misgivings, or help us to decide whether to go
ahead with this plan.
