Target: Bib on Abusive YA Relationships

Thanks to the several people who responded.  I am listing what I found
in my library and suggestions from about ten people about fiction and
non-fiction books about young adults dealing with abusive relationships
with boyfriends.  Also one web site.
Books about Relationships in Pueblo Library

362.8 Ba  Battered Women: Psychological Study of Domestic Violence by
Maria Roy.  This book deals
with the psychological, police, and legal aspects.  It also discusses
prevention.

362.829 Ko  Battered Women: Living with the Enemy by Anna Kosof.  A
short and concise books that in
Chapter III discusses  how the cycle begins in courtship and romance.

155.4 Le   When Kids Drive Kids Crazy by Eda LeShan.  This is more a
book about the very beginning of
relationship and how to recognize a healthy relationship.

362.829 Ki  Breaking the Cycle of Domestic Violence by
Kinslinger-Bruhn.  An easier to read book
written for young adults that deals both with family violence and how to
develop health
relationships.

362.82  Vi   Violence Against Women by Current Controversies.   This is
very in depth book that features
different viewpoints about causes and remedies.

306.73  Ru   Everything you Need to Know About Abusive Relationships by
Nancy Rue.  This is probably
the best book at Pueblo dealing directly with this issue for young
adults.
