Subject: Life by the Numbers

I'm wondering if anyone has seen any of the Life by the Numbers math series
shown on PBS.  It apparently has not been shown in my area.  If you have seen
any of the episodes(?), please share your opinion on their usefulness for a
middle school setting...length...content...etc.
