SPEED OF INFORMATION TRANSFER.

Colleagues ... please forgive the cross posting ... but I think others might
like to have this information too ... if anyone can come up with it .

          A while ago, someone sent a message to one of these listservs which
          quoted the time it took a messenger to run a message from one
          ancient city to another, the time to get a message via telegraph
          and the time to get a message around the world via cyberspace. The
          rate at which the brain processes this information was also quoted.

          I can't find that EM anywhere ... and I need it ... do you happen
          to have a copy you can access?
