Congratulations to fellow LM_NETTER Judy Freeman, librarian at the Van
Holten Primary School in Bridgewater, NJ, on her selection to this
year's Newbery Committee. Judy is the author of BOOKS KIDS WILL SIT
STILL FOR, MORE BOOKS KIDS WILL SIT STILL FOR, and HI HO LIBRARIO!
SONGS, CHANTS, AND STORIES TO KEEP KIDS HUMMING. She writes "BookTalk"
for INSTRUCTOR Magazine, teaches at Rutgers University School of
Communication,Information, and Library Studies, and is a national
workshop presenter for the Bureau of Education and Research.
