Target: 'Electric Library' type sources

Hello LM_Netters,
Out board is considering buying a board license for EL. I have been
reading comments about other such products. We were impressed by the
Canadian content offered to us by EL. If anyone has time, I would like
to personally hear futher comments about other programs: how they are
used, age appropriateness, readability level, subject areas for
research, graphics etc. Elementary and high schools are looking to use
this product.
Some libraians I have spoken with feel that this will eliminate the need
for students to surf the net for research information. I see it as one
more tool for the students not an exclusionary one.
