Hello Friends! We are finally to the point where all classrooms will have access to the Internet this year in our K-6 building. I have been asked to provide training to the teachers and staff. Initially, I have been asked to come up with a very simple, two page or so handout that will outline steps to get started and some sites to explore. I think I can handle that OK, and I also have some ideas about the workshops too, but just thought I would see if anyone has any particular words of wisdom for me. I searched the archives, but didn't find what I needed. What are some good ways to start this training that will not overwhelm my staff--many are not familiar with the Internet at all. I will be glad to post a HIT. Thanks for your help! *************************************************************** Bonnie LaClave Phone 765-436-2333 Library Media Specialist Fax 765-436-2630 Thorntown Elem. blaclav@in-motion.net 200 Mill Street "Reading Is To The Mind Thorntown, IN 46071 What Exercise Is To The Body" *************************************************************** =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
