Dear Colleagues,
I get really upset when I read these reports and survey results
about how much technology is in our schools. Surveys often ask how many
computers are in the school, but rarely ask their capabilities. Our local
newspaper reported on the number of computers in the 5 school districts is
serves then created at computer/student ration. Of course they didn't take
into account the fact that half the computers in our elementary schools are
Apple IIe's or GS's. Thank goodness they have stopped counting the old TI
16k machines still stored in a closet.
