Dear friends:
On August 1 I posted a humorous piece to you-all which began as follows:

Since then I have been getting irate comments from 18-20 year olds all over
the country, berating me for insulting their intelligence, etc, and disputing
(with lengthy factual evidence) the claims of that piece.

Please -- if you choose to re-distribute any humor I've sent, esp. where I've
*clearly* indicated that it is not my own invention -- have the courtesy to
omit my name and email address before you forward the post.
