I know that most media specialists already have positions; however, we have a
recent opening in our school district. We are committed to finding that
special, proactive, enthusiastic media specialist - no matter how long it
takes.

Even if you are currently tied into a contract for this school year, if you are

Media Specialist for Homestead High School - Southwest Allen County Schools
        Fort Wayne, Indiana

This district is very proactive in promoting media centers and technology as
integral parts of the curricula. The high school has approximately 1900
students, 120 teachers, and is located in a suburban district that has a very
generous budget. The high school media center has two certified media
specialists, and two paraprofessionals.
