This is the information I received in response to my request for
information to use to teach copyright issues to our 9th grade citizenship
classes. Thanks to all of you who responded. I'll share whatever we finally
put together with LM_NET when it is ready to go.

University of Texas System has a really good copyright
tutorial. I don't know the exact URL here, but start here:
http://www.utsystem.edu/OGC/IntellectualProperty/

The best source that I know is Carol Mann Simpson's
_Copyright for Schools: A Practical Guide_ (Worthington,
Ohio: Linworth Publishing, 1997). It isn't a thick book,
but it contains just about everything that you would need to
cover in a class. It also has forms for different needs.
