MID: Collection Development References

Can anyone recommend good professional reference books similar  to ESLC
which would be particularly beneficial in developing a middle school
collection? I am currently in the process of developing a long-range
collection plan and would like to identify school and public library
resource books used to select materials for young teens. Thanks.
