Florida Only: Orlando, Your Fair City

Greetings: I may find myself in Orlando over the winter holidays, and
am  interested in a local perspective. I doubt that theme parks are on
the agenda, so I'm looking for other  local color and items of interest.

    Also, a recommendation of a good reasonably priced accommodation
would be helpful.
    I have looked into several very good print sources, as well as many
web sites, but they just don't give the whole story.
