Destination for weeded books

If anyone knows a destination for weeded books, would you kindly let me
know. I have lots of old titles, and my superintendent wants to take them
to the dump. Arghhhh. . .that hurts! I have used book dealers coming
tomorrow, and the community coming on Thursday and Friday to get what they
want, but it is still hard to throw books away. We are a small school (330
kids K-12).
