I have a colleague who is doing some research on the history of libraries. For her research, she needs to read three books on recognized figures or practitioners in the field. We, of course, came up with Andrew Carnegie but are having trouble finding books on anyone else despite all our searching. Does anyone have any suggestions for names of people we could search for? Any good biographies out there that we could take a look at? Thank You!
