organizing URL's

Hello,
    I want to thank all the generous librarians who share excellent web
sites with the members of this listserve.  Last year I began printing
each letter that described a site or sites that I thought would be
useful to the students and staff in my school.  I wrote the topic on the
right-hand margin of each sheet, used my three-hole punch and organized
the sheets alphabetically in a binder.  That collection of web sites has
saved everyone from a lot of frustration, sorting through the thousands
of "sites" coughed up by undiscriminating search engines.
    I check Classroom Connect, Internet Yellow Pages, and my blue
notebook first before plunging into the Surf.
