Target: Win 98 upgrade - any tips?

Hi would I be right in telling one of my teachers that all she has to do to
install 98 on computer running 95 is just do it?  Are there any tips or
secrets she needs to know before she does this....guess she should at least
back up her files in case things go haywire.  TIA
